Sears front end

One almost done and two more to go! These are for my friend Matt and are so much fun to build. There were some smart machinists back in 1914 that's for sure ..

Had a great weekend on the machines making parts..
5 sets  of Axle Blocks ready to be tapped..
Spun up some Gas Caps and Tranny Caps on the lathe..

Also some Oil Tank ends on the mill.. Check out the half finned ones, I had to stop the machine early because these looked so cool! Stay tuned for Mr. Don Woods rockers to come to life..

Forward Controls

Here are some pictures of a set of forward controls we revived and rebuilt in to a new set to fit a XS650 with standard mounting holes, Here is what we started with..

I had to make a new backing plate for the shift side since the old one was broke..
Always better to have three rather than one! The Brake side went really good since there was only pegs and some filing to do ..
Brake side done and ready to go
Shifter Side done and ready to go.. Notice this is set up for foot clutch and all machined to fit a xs650 clutch cable.
